Elos Touchscreen Monitor
Problem: Drive Thru Expo, Bin Management, or Counter/Dine Expo Elos touchscreen monitor not responding
Solution:
If doesn't respond after rebooting controller (QSR box that's behind the monitor).
1.) Make sure screen is clean first. Power down just the Elos monitor pressing the power button (usually bottom corner) then unplug the power cable to the Elos monitor (second picture). If not about to reach and unplug power cable to the monitor then just power off monitor for about 20 seconds. If we are able to unplug power cable wait 30 seconds to a minute. Plug back in the power cable and power back on the Elos Monitor. Test
AND
2.) If power cycling monitor does not work unplug USB cable from the Elos monitor (will look like left or right bottom picture depending on model of Elos monitor) and then follow the other end of the USB should lead to the QSR controller and unplug and plug back in both ends. Can also maybe try plugging into a different USB port on QSR controller. Test and if that does not work maybe replace the USB cable or swap out USB cable with Bin, DT Expo, or Counter/Dine Expo for testing. Note USB cable can be purchase from local stores in the area.
OR
3.) Last thing can try if all else fails take the controller to another ELOs touchscreen working monitor and if controller works at other ELOs monitor issue is the monitor but if it doesn't work at other ELOs monitor then the QSR controller is the issue. To replace QSR controller or Elos monitor please reach out to PAR.
