Rear Display Blank
Problem:
PAR terminal rear display that guest see that usually displays the order confirmation or promos is completely blank/black like it has no power.
Solution:
1.) Check if rear display cable is fully in or unplug the cable and check for any bent pins. If pins ok plug back in and reboot register but if pins bent go ahead and reach out to PAR.

2.) If still not powering on or blank check if it will manually power on. Locate the button underneath the rear display and press and hold for about 2-3 seconds to see if any display comes on.

3.) Last step/option is to check the BIOS. Reboot the terminal and once PAR Logo (below) pops up double tap on the logo and press the Setup button. Note will need to press quickly comes up for about 5-7 seconds. If you miss it reboot terminal and try again.

A. Once you enter Setup will go to BIOS like screen below. Press the "Next item" button to highlight "VGA Port". If it’s Disabled set to Enabled by pressing "+" button.

B. Click "Save" and click "Ok" at bottom right (like picture below) and click Exit. Will boot up device and rear display should be powering up and showing now. Note you may need to also set Windows Display Settings to "Extend" if set to "Duplicate". If there is still no display reach out to PAR.
