Tablet "Please Select a Flavor for All Drinks" Workaround
Currently, tablets allow cahiers to authorize a credit card payment prior to selecting drinks for all meals, resulting in the "Please Select a Flavor for All Drinks" message being thrown. Once the payment has been taken, the items cannot be modified and the order cannot be closed using the standard procedure.
While these orders cannot be closed using the "Pay/Close" button, there is another method that allows them to be closed. Select Functions in the top right to get to the Order Functions page. The Close Order button on this page, pictured below, will ignore most errors, excluding payment/total variances, and allow orders to be closed while missing required modifiers. I have confirmed this will close orders throwing the "Please Select a Flavor for All Drinks" error.
