Managing Users in the PAR Admin Portal
Franchisees are now empowered to create and manage AM, GM, and DM PAR accounts for their groups. This will allow Franchises to manage accounts as they see fit (ex: shared GM + AM accounts or individual accounts for each manager for better tracking) and to react more quickly to personnel changes without requiring assistance from ZFI.
To manage users, navigate to Configuration > Users in the portal:

If your account is assigned the franchisee role, you should see all AM, GM, DM, and Reporting Only (used for accounting users, etc.) users assigned only to the stores you have access to:

Franchisee accounts will also appear, but your ability to modify them will be limited. Select "New User" to create a new account or select one of the existing accounts to modify access. For new users, start by filling out the desired first name, last name, email address, and username* as shown below. We would suggest setting a simple password and checking the "Force user to change password" and "Email password on save" options so PAR automatically provides login details to the user and the user is forced to set a unique password on their first login attempt.

In the next section, select the location(s) the user should have access to and add the appropriate role to the "Selected" list.

Save the user and the email address should automatically receive the login details.
A few notes:
- If you cannot view or assign users for a given location, your account likely needs to be updated. This can be requested from the Portal Access form on our support portal.
- PAR advises that accounts for terminated employees be deactivated rather than deleted as this allows previous actions to be tracked more reliably if needed.
- *PAR has recently locked the username field after account creation due to some issues they observed. Currently, this value cannot be modified without creating a new account.
