Zaxbys ReportHub
User Guide v1.4.1
Last revision: 8/29/2025

This guide offers an introduction to the process of managing store hierarchies, running reports, creating subscriptions to reports and report navigation using the Zaxbys ReportHub.
ReportHub Home Page

Purpose of ReportHub
Zaxbys ReportHub is intended to fulfill the reporting requirements of franchise operators, acting as a one-stop shop for running reports, managing subscriptions, and delegating access to other operators.
Intended Audience
ReportHub is intended for franchisees, designated principals, and key operators. While it allows delegation of access to lower users, it is not intended to be used by anyone without a @zaxbys.com email address.

Here are the highlights of what is new in this version of ReportHub:
- List of Reports - The screen that allows you to choose a report to view has been updated with an improved look and feel.
- Subscription nicknames – Now, when you create a subscription to have a report emailed to you, you can give it a nickname that will show in the email header making it easier to identify the various reports you have automatically delivered.
- New ‘Help’ menu option – A new menu option has been added where you can access documentation and helpful information for ReportHub.

Logging in to ReportHub requires a zaxbys.com account. If you do not have a Zaxbys.com email address, you will not be able to log in. You also need to be authorized for access. If you attempt to login and the page does not load or gives you an unauthorized access error, your account is likely not set up to access reports.

The homepage shows three separate modules: Manage Hierarchies, Run Reports, and Manage Subscriptions.
The first time you access ReportHub, you will be required to accept a series of terms & conditions. Please read the terms carefully before you accept. Once you accept, your answer will be recorded permanently.

In the Manage Hierarchies screen, you will see 2 columns:
-
Your users: A list of users added by you who will be able to see any stores you assign to them. This list will always start out blank. You will never have any pre-selected users in your list.
-
To add a new user, click the “Add New User” button
and a new input box will appear on the screen.

Enter the email of your new user. You can enter multiple emails in a comma-delimited list (“example1@zaxbys.com,example2@zaxbys.com” will add 2 new emails). When you press “Add,” the new emails will instantly be added to your user list. Remember that only Zaxbys.com addresses can log in to this site and adding a non-Zaxbys.com email address to this list will not allow the person to log in to ReportHub. If you would like for a user with a non-Zaxbys address to view a certain report, you must add them to a scheduled subscription so the report will be delivered to their inbox without the need for a login.
-
Assigned locations: For a given selected user in the “Your users” column, any stores assigned to that person will be displayed in the “Assigned locations” column with a checkmark beside the assigned stores and that row will be highlighted. In the example below, this user is assigned to 00183 and 00185. To remove a store from the person, uncheck the box and it will be removed from that user.

-
Deleting a User: To delete a user, highlight the user in the first box and press the “Delete User” button
.
-
When your changes are complete, Press the ‘Save Changes” button.
NOTE! You must press the Save button to commit access changes.

In the Run Reports section of the site, you will see a list of all approved reports and dashboards. Note that dashboards cannot be subscribed to; they can only be run.
Running a Report
To run a report, click the “View” option to the right of the report name. The report will load and allow you to edit parameters.

The toolbar at the top of the report will allow you to save, export, or print the report once it is run. You must have already run the report to be given these options.

- Press this arrow button to go to the Next Page

- Press this arrow button to go to the Previous Page
- Press this arrow button to go to the First Page

You also have the option of exporting the report to save it on your computer. Select this option to see the different formats the report can be exported in.

Options for Exporting the report
- To export the report in an Excel format, choose this option.

- To export the report in a PDF format, choose this option.

The last navigation option is to hide the list of parameters used when the report was run.

Clicking on the “Parameters” button will hide the area shown below and allow you to have more of the report shown on the screen.

This is what the report would look like with those parameters hidden.

If you want to display them again to make changes and run the report again, just click the “Parameters” button again.
You can also print the report. To print the report, click the File tab and click Print. Follow the prompts to send the report to your printer.

Run Reports
For any report that is NOT a dashboard, you will have the option to subscribe to the report by clicking the Subscribe button.

Fill out the fields for your preferences. At the top of the page, you can give this version of the subscription a nickname (Roberts Rolling 13 Weekly Report in this example) to easily identify it when the email comes. The report nickname will be shown in the email header shown below.

You can choose how often and when you would like to receive the report.
You can enter multiple email addresses in the Email address field, if they are separated by commas.

VALID: Daniel.tusk@zaxbys.com
VALID: Daniel.tusk@zaxbys.com,Bradley.sims@zaxbys.com,Heather.sims@zaxbys.com
You can subscribe to reports daily or weekly. If you subscribe to a report weekly, you can select which days you would like it to run.

The date range can be selected as Days or Weeks and you may select a number between 1 and 7. For example, if you select 3 days, the report will always be executed for the past 3 days at the time it is sent. If you subscribe to a Sales Analysis V2 report each Saturday, and you set it up to run for the past 3 Days, it will run for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday each time.
Once you have filled out all report parameters and subscription options, press SUBSCRIBE at the bottom of the screen. You will be returned to the report list screen, and your new subscription will be entered. You should see this message confirming that your new subscription was successful:

You can view, edit, or delete your subscriptions at any time by navigating to the Manage Subscriptions module.

At a glance, you can see the Subscription name (report nickname), report name, frequency, time, and destination, and you can press the red X to remove any subscription.
To edit the subscription, press the pencil icon to the left of the Subscription name. You will be returned to the same page that you used to create the subscription, and you will be able to edit any parameter, including report parameters.
Please be mindful that your subscriptions will be sent to their destinations regardless of access restrictions. Destination users will be sent the full report, including all the stores you selected for inclusion on that report, even if each destination user is not specifically designated access to the stores included. Make sure that everyone that you are sending the report to is approved to view the data!

The help menu will give you quick access to articles and information about ReportHub.

The current menu options are:
ReportHub User Guide
Automatic Price Updates Guide
Automatic Price Update Training Video
Adding a delegated user
Updating delegated users
Correcting an Owners list of stores
